Unrushed care.
A collaborative
relationship.

We listen to health concerns in an unrushed, non-judgmental environment and apply clinical knowledge and experience to each individual situation.

We believe the medical provider is the expert on medicine, while the patient is the expert on themselves. That collaborative relationship is the foundation for thoughtful primary and secondary care.

Our clinical focus centers on complex health conditions, preventative care, and treating the whole person rather than reducing care to a single symptom or specialty.

The service-first mindset means time to listen, careful review of the full picture, and a commitment to applying experience and expertise to the individual in front of us.

Not a Conveyor Belt

Our approach to scheduling allows enough time for an unrushed experience.

Jason spent years caring for medically complex adults in hospital-based settings, where he saw how often chronic and difficult cases needed more time, more context, and more careful diagnostic thinking than the standard model could realistically provide.

Across inpatient medicine, geriatric care, and insurance assessment work, he developed a deep appreciation for the value of clinical reasoning, pattern recognition, and the kind of ongoing investigation that helps uncover what may be driving persistent or complicated illness.

That experience ultimately shaped the vision for Breakthrough Functional Medicine — a practice built around collaboration, continuity, and the freedom to look more closely at each individual case rather than rushing to the next appointment.

The goal is not simply to offer more time in the visit, but to create a care experience where thoughtful review, research, and a fuller understanding of the patient’s story can guide clearer next steps.
